How do I layer a transparent PNG over another image?
In Photoshop/GIMP/Photopea: open the background image, drag-and-drop the PNG on top, position it. The transparency "sees through" automatically. To export the result, flatten layers and save as JPEG (smaller) or PNG (preserves any remaining transparency).
